Fragrance and Sensory Garden
Located between the Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory and Fuqua Orchid Center, this garden incorporates an array of fragrant trees, shrubs and perennials. Some of these are usually only hardy to slightly warmer zones, but because of the protected enclosure created by the buildings, they fair well in here in the Garden's climate.
The Sensory Garden is also planted to stimulate sound, touch and sight. Lightly touching the plants is encouraged in this one garden space so textures can be felt and aromas released. Pan of Rohallion quietly sits in the pool inside the stone wall.
The Fragrance Garden is the smallest available private event space, perfect for intimate weddings.
