Yaneth Vazquez Jacinto, B.S
Yaneth is the Conservation Laboratory Technician in the Conservation and Research Department. She assists the Atlanta Botanical Garden with her work in plant tissue, seed, and pollen collection for long-term preservation storage.
Yaneth acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Clayton State University, where she conducted a Floral Study at the Reynold’s Nature Preserve that aimed to track down the presence and phenological changes of the nature preserve’s plants. With her main interest areas being ecology and conservation, she values being part of the team and hopes to assist the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s mission to conserve imperiled plants and other natural communities.
