Jeff Talbert

Jeff is the coordinator of the Restoration of Species Diversity and Hydrologic Function in Wetlands within the Coastal Dune Lake Watershed project at Deer Lake State Park. Funded by the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation through the Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund, Jeff coordinates project-related activities as well as those of associated projects. Chief among his responsibilities are public outreach, tracking weekly progress, coordinating the clearing, keeping partners regularly updated, and participating in prescribed burning. A native of central Florida, Jeff earned a B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from Webber International University. A former park ranger and resource management specialist at Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve, Jeff has been practicing resource management in the Florida panhandle since 2008. He lives near Argyle, FL with his dog Clementine.
