Southeastern Center for Conservation
As a venue for coordination and collaboration, the Southeastern Center for Conservation enables the Garden's partner institutions to expand and better carry out their work. Through conservation of imperiled species and natural communities across the southeastern United States, Caribbean, and Ecuador, the center protects the natural heritage of one of North America’s most biodiverse regions.
Science and Research
The Southeastern Center for Conservation focuses on three core areas of study: habitat restoration research, biodiversity research, pollinator research and a conservation seed bank.
Global Efforts
With conservation interests in Puerto Rico, Cuba and and Ecuador, the Garden is committed to positively affecting international plant populations through research, conservation, education and restoration.

Restoring and monitoring imperiled plants and their fragile ecosystems threatened by human interference and natural forces.
